Dr. Ju is a leader in the study of human sleep in a variety of neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer and Parkinson Disease. Her research expertise includes human polysomnography, actigraphy, blood and cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers, and manipulation of sleep. She is also a neurologist with clinical expertise in Sleep Medicine, and see patients in the Washington University Sleep Center. Dr. Ju leads the COBRAS human core, and provides expertise in human sleep studies, biomarkers, actigraphy, and humans circadian rhythm analysis.
